Spending too much on single units leaves parts of the screen vulnerable, but not having powerful enough defenses can see them crumble. Defensive creatures cost a certain amount of in-game currency units, and the player must try to balance how they spend that currency. The game's premise is quite simple the player has to defend the left-hand side of the screen from attacking creatures. That means people who were not fans of The Binding of Isacc might still enjoy it. With that being said, while the art style and themes will appeal to other fans of that game, the gameplay is sufficiently different. The developer of I.RULE states that the game is intended to be a tribute to The Binding of Isacc. ![]()
